Waterford up 2-0

Waterford took advantage of two Canajoharie errors and wild piches by starter Dave O'Neil to jump out to a 2-0 lead in the second inning of the Section II Class C semifinal.

Jeff Yattaw led off with a single, stole second was sacrificed to third and scored on Kyle Brisson's hard grounder to short.
Brisson reached safely when the shortstop looked Yattaw back but bounced the throw to first. Brisson moved over on a wild pitch and made it to third when the shortstop's throw pulled the first baseman off the bag. Ryan Hardey knocked him in with a grounder to second for the 2-0 lead.

The Fordians ended a C-F threat when Zach Fliescher was cut down at the plate, attempting to score from second after his one-out hit.
Payton Stahler ripped a single to left but Waterford's Brisson came up throwing, hitting catcher Joe Harder at the plate, two steps in front of Fliescher.
