Saratoga up early, 2-0

The Blue Streaks weren't intimidated by Albany High starter Pat Landers, scoring two runs on four hits to open their Section II Class AA quarterfinal.

Kyle Willmott reached on a one-out single to right, advanced on Scott Hladik's rip to left and came around to score on Mike Allen's sharp single that bad hopped the second baseman.
Hladik came around quickly when Leejay Pollachi drilled a Landers offering deep to right tipping off the glove of the outfielder as he ran back to the fence.

Blue Streaks up 2-0.
