Burnt Hills boys lax advance to quarterfinals, 18-8

Outscoring Scotia 6-1 in the final quarter Burnt Hills turns it into a rout, 18-8 in the Class B quarterfinal.


  • BH surviving, 12-7

    Burnt Hills squandered a 5 goal lead, letting Scotia back in during the third to 8-6 before the Spartans rallied with four goals of their own and a 12-7 lead through three.


  • Scotia responds, down 7-3

    Scotia-Glenville is tired of being pushed around and scored on in the Class B quarterfinal by Burnt Hills. Luke Perry and Steve Semo each scored to cut lead, 7-3 at the half. BH leads on the boad, ground balls (17-9), shots (19-9) and penalties (5-2).


  • BH on run, up 6-1

    Burnt Hills opens second quarter with three unanswered goals in a one-minute span for a 6-1 lead. Credit Kyle Jones and Ian Schwan with a pair during the run.


  • BH blax up 3-1 1st Q

    Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake duo Ian Schwan and Kyle Jones connected twice to take lead and Mike Kelly added an underhanded tally for a 3-1 lead with 1:00 left in the first quarter of the Class B quarterfinal.


  • Scotia at BH-BL blax quarters

    1-0 Scotia. Jon Zabin bounces ball in for early S-G lead on man-up at 8:41. 0-0 early, but more collisions than a NASCAR race. Physical at both ends.
