Albany tries to wrestle away win but fails

Albany could have tied the game if Justin Nowak slid versus coming up on Saratoga catcher Scott Hladik.

Jake Valentine took a one-out walk and went to second on Nowak's single that fell into short center.

Albany hero Jevonte Osterhout almost did it again, drilling a Luke Fauler pitch deep to center, hitting the fence as Saratoga's Leejay Pollachi jumped up on the fence.

Valentine scored and Nowak raced for home and drilled Hladik who was jumping up for the high throw.
Nowak was called out and tossed out for the indescretion.

With the tying run at third Justin Harris was intentionally walked and Steve Richards innocently popped out to first for Saratoga's win.
