MAR - Game 17: Kingsbridge 11, Clifton Park 7

CLIFTON PARK - The Metro New York champions, Kingsbridge, proved to be the top dog in Pool A of the Cal Ripken Baseball 11-year-old Middle Atlantic Tournament at the Clifton Common Baseball Complex with a 11-7 win over Eastern New York State champion, Clifton Park.

The contest saw five lead changes, including a 2 1/2-hour delay starting with lightning in the distance, followed by a downpour.

With the help of tournament staff along with coaches from Clifton Park, Spring-Ford and Wilton, play resumed with Clifton Park ahead, 7-5 before Kingsbridge rallied for six runs in the top of the fourth inning to move onto Monday's elimination semifinal as the No. 1 seed in Pool A.
