Phils suspended opener set for 3:30 p.m. Sunday

Game resumes at top of third 3:30 p.m. today as part of twinbill

I'm not sure who made the decision, but the Phillies will be playing four games in less than 48 hours Sunday at East Side Rec.

Saratoga will pick up their June 10 contest against Amsterdam in the top of the third inning, ahead 6-5, at East Side Rec at 3:30 p.m. Once completed, the two teams will square off for their regularly scheduled 7 p.m. tilt.

Vanderbilt left-hander Kellen St. Luce is expected to start the suspended game, taking his spot in the five-man rotation for Saratoga and the entire staff will have a chance to contribute in the later contest.
St. Luce struggled with his control on the road Wednesday night at Watertown.

He went four innings, giving up four runs on three hits. He walked four batters and struck out five while committing two errors.

It's unfair to judge the left-hander harshly after only one start. He didn't arrive in Saratoga until Tuesday and was still new to the organization and experience.
