RPI Engineers hockey on TW3

Time Warner Cable to broadcast five games live

Time Warner Cable announced today that it would provide live coverage of five Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's hockey games for the 2007-2008 season.
Local cable channel TW3 will carry five games, live from the Houston Field House on the Troy campus beginning with the Engineer's December 15 game against Miami of Ohio.

Time Warner Cable will also broadcast match-ups against Cornell, Union, Quinnipiac and RPI's "Big Red Freakout" contest versus Princeton.

What makes this great is that not only has a local television station embraced the sport as well as the college, but TW3 will also provide replays of the game, but will also have the games archived via the Time Warner Sports on Demand, channel 1003 for all digital cable subscribers.

The game schedule for 2007-2008 is:

Dec. 15, RPI vs. Miami of Ohio, 7 p.m.
Jan. 11, RPI vs. Cornell, 7 p.m.
January 19, RPI vs. Union, 7 p.m.
Feb. 1, RPI vs. Quinnipiac, 7 p.m.
Feb. 2, RPI vs. Princeton, 7 p.m.
