Phils in control through 7 vs Bombers

Louie Bernardini (Wheaton College) got himself in a jam in the top of the seventh, but escaped unscathed.

After hitting lead-off batter Adam Donato (Canisius) he got the next two batters to fly out and strike out before giving up a single to Sean Donovan (UAlbany). He then hit Brad Currier (UVM) to load the bases. He got out of the bases loadd jam when Paul Panic (Canisius) grounded out to Phillies second baseman Corey Hunt (Virginia).

Bernardini would end his day after seven innings with a four-hit shutout. He walked one batter and struck out six.

Corey Kuzmik (NJIT) came on to start the eighth inning in relief for Saratoga.
