Phils hit by reliever, down 3-2

Bomber's starter Tommy Meija (Dominican) was lifted after six innings for Dan Bosley who had a precarious relief appearance.
He hit Eric Walker (Oklahoma State), walked Mark Riffee (Virginia) and then hit Corey Hunt (Virginia) to load the bases.
His bad luck was contagious as Donnie Webb's roller up the first base line squirted through the legs of Ethan Paquette (UVM) ala Bill Buckner allowing Walker and Riffee to score, cutting the lead, 3-2.
He showed some control, getting Brian Harris to fly out and Jake Willis to strike out but he then hit Jon Nicolla to load the bases. Bryan Rose almost put Saratoga ahead with a laser directly at the left fielder to end the inning.

Bosley would give up two unearned runs without giving up a hit. He hit three batters, walked one and struck out one.

Meija's line is 6 innings, 0 runs, three hits, four walks and two strikeouts.
