Phils game vs Little Falls in jeopardy

A cloud burst exploded over East Side Rec at 5:20 p.m. and drenched the field, leaving several puddles of free-standing water in the basepaths and covered the tarps at home plate and the mound.

The Saratoga Park and Recreation staff (one person) jumped on the dilemma and proceeded to take a leafblower to the task at hand...This isn't a misprint, a leafblower.

Once the freestanding water was blown from puddles to large wet circles.

Next up, the Toro four-wheeler was on hand, loaded with quik-dry and spread it around first base, only one of the effected areas. All while a dark cloud began to loom overhead.

His next step was to bring out the groomer and groom from the second base side to the bag.

I'll update as the situation improves or gets worse.
Stan Hudy
