Bombers up on error in 6th, 3-0

Bennington's Joe Inzone (Southwest CC) hit a one-out single to right field and came around to score when Adam Donato (Canisius) stroked a single to left and Saratoga left fielder Mark Riffee (Virginia) misplayed the hit and saw the ball roll to the fence. He ran up to the ball, but his attempted backhand failed.
Things got worse when Mike Fiers (U of Cumberlands) hit Ethan Paquette (UVM).
Zachary Halloran then sent a two-out rip to right field scoring Donato. Paul Panik (Canisius) drilled a single to left sending Paquette around to score for a 3-0 Bombers lead.
Bennington scored its three runs on four hits, a hit batter and an error. All three runs will be recorded as unearned against Fiers.
